college for all trip!!

collage for all

College for all trip was amazing it was the most fun experience. we went to see colleges at santa barbara san louis obispo and santa cruz. The colledes threr were so interisting and awsome. We had a fun time seeing colleges and hagining with our friends. The college for all trip made me realize a lot of things like if i go to college I have a great chance to get a carrer. And change my community and my life. The most fun part of the trip was when we got to the hotels and hanged out with are friends and i liked cal poly better than the other colleges. what I didn't like about the college for all trip was th bus rides they were so long and also we didn't get to see the boys a lot just hen we ate lunch and at the santa cruz boardwalk. Ethier ways I had lots of fun and in that trip I had a opportunity to get to know my classmate better.T his trip i will never forget because it was one of the best trips I have gone to. I really apreciate upa for giving us this great opportunity to get to see how college is like.
Dear Senator Dutton:

My name is Esmeralda Mendoza and I am a 8th grader at Urban Promise Academy in Oakland, CA. My school is a small school in the community of Oakland. It is a school with a staff that support and encourage their students. UPA  is a small school that feels like a second family. In our school we have after school programs such as soccer, dance, drama, cheer leading, and more. The thing I will miss most at UPA if we do not get funding is the dances our after school programs of soccer, drama, and sports. I need the opportunity to go to college because I want to show my family and friends I can do my best and succeed. Also to show people even if I live in Oakland I can get a great education. Please support my education by letting California vote on the tax extension measure. The future of California is us and every single students in California!

-- sincerely,
Esmeralda Mendoza
